I stood up and did a backward snap shot as we went past him in a boat.

    Puma

    Brown Brocket Deer

    Capybara

    Santa Fe, Argentina
    Crossbow - SCI #2
My scope was completely fogged up. I finally crawled up in the tree and pointed the bow at him. Pinned him to the tree thru the neck - he was mad.

He stayed hidden beside the main trail. Ben Seegmiller had walked by him 10 times and had never seen him. I took him my 1st day.

    Multi Horn Sheep

    Brown Brocket Deer

     Santa Fe, Argentina
    Handgun - SCI #1
He was laying down, hiding in brush. I had to stand for 15 minutes with the gun on the tri-pod. We finally screamed at him and he jumped up and whirled to run.

    Crossbow - SCI #2

400#, big, mean and dangerous! Would have been #1, except Ben Seegmiller shot a bigger one the week before!

Took him right after the Puma - scope was fogged up - dogs had him cornered in thick brush. I had to crawl in and just point the bow to hit him.

    Fallow Deer

    Feral Goat

    Buenos Aires, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #1

Had to use a borrowed .41 Mag. revolver with a 2 power scope! Did ok at 115 yards as he was running! Guide said shoot the next one coming...

I was hunting on a ranch owned by the Ambassador of England. This was just a quick hunt while Kathy and the girls toured Buenos Aires City.

    Muzzleloader - SCI #2

He was running through a clearing at 142 yards. This was my 4th specie taken that day - a good day for hunting!

    Axis Deer

    Water Buffalo

    Fallow Deer

    Argentina

    Handgun

They were not as wary as they are on other continents - probably my easiest specie taken in South America.

    Water Buffalo

    Water Buffalo

    Water Buffalo

    Santa Fe, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #2, Overall #11

We were chasing bulls in the thick brush for hours. Finally came into an opening and found this huge female - too old and feeble to run.

    Axis Deer

    Water Buffalo

    Water Buffalo

    Cerro Colorado, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #2

    247 yard shot

I had to crawl on my belly for 100 yards in order to get a shot. Then, I had to use a cow pie as a rest for the gun!

    Blackbuck

    Fallow Deer

    Blackbuck

    Bahia Blanco, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #1

This ranch has 800+ of these things! On my previous hunt for these, I had hunted for 10 days to just see one!

    Fallow Deer

    Fallow Deer

    Santa Fe, Argentina

    Muzzleloader - SCI #2

It was a foggy morning and we could not find deer. Finally, he came running through a clearing at 142 yards. Tough running shot with a muzzleloader. This was my 4th specie taken that day - a good day for hunting!

    Feral Boar

    Feral Boar

    Fallow Deer

    Tandil, Argentina

    Handgun - 217 yard shot

He was a mile across a flat open field with no stalk possible. We had a gaucho ride his horse on the other side of him - he ran right toward me!

    Feral Boar

    Feral Boar

    Feral Boar

    La Colorada, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #5

These huge and mean critters have no predators, so the old boys like this one do not pay a lot of attention - this one walked nearly right up to me!

    Feral Goat

    Feral Boar

    Feral Boar

    Tandil, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #1

    314 yard shot

The grass was too tall to see him, so I climed on top of an ancient hay wagon and shot from the top of the old 10' high wheel!

    Multi Horn Sheep

    White Lipped Peccary

    Multi Horn Sheep

    Tandil, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #1, Overall #9

    327 yard shot

These are hard to judge on the hoof, but he was a real monster. It is also hard to pick one out of the group - he finally stepped away..

    Feral Sheep

    White Lipped Peccary

    Multi Horn Sheep

    Tandil, Argentina

    Handgun - SCI #1, Overall #7

We stalked him in very tall grass. I had a fast shot from the shooting sticks when he was us and tried to escape.

    Crossbow - SCI #1, Overall #11

There were 200 of them in this sounder. The US Fish and Wildlife still says they are endangered and will not allow import! Because there were so many, it was impossible to get close, so I had to make a long shot with the crossbow.
